HI
EVERYONE!!!
We had a lot of good appointments and have a lot of progressing investigators right now. We dropped a few who weren't progressing but fortunately we still have a lot of progressors that are working towards baptism. One will be baptized on Sunday and another we have moved back 3 weeks. Things are looking really good here and we are enjoying a great amount of successes!
Highlights include:
Service project in Eisenhüttenstadt on Saturday with the district! Hilarious. We helped this really old couple do a lot of yard work. It was a blast to help them and our district is so cool and funny that we laughed basically the whole time. Plus the weather was amazing. I love yard work.
New investigator/old investigator. We finally got a hold of a man we found my first week here (6 months ago). He went back home for a few months and actually met missionaries there too. We happened to call him right after he got back and set up an appointment. He told us how he wants to go to church and live his faith better but hasn't been doing it as well as he should. We taught him about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how we can be clean and live with God again. He loved it. It was exactly what he needed to hear. And he wanted to hear it too. One of those few people who humble themselves by the word and honestly just need the invitation/opportunity. He accepted a baptismal committment for the 18th of November!
We also spent a lot of time at a member's house this last week with an investigator. He is getting to know them better and at the same time is busy with something positive doing service there. It was really good for him. He is making progress and getting a lot closer to baptism. That has been really fun to see.
The last thing I'll share is a meeting with the sister who will be baptized Sunday. She is sooo ready and excited for her baptism. She and her husband already had programs drawn up and have already asked all who will take part! And we get to be the witnesses. We went over the baptismal interview questions with her and she answered them wonderfully. She is sooo ready! Finally! It was a real great moment to be able to talk to her and her husband and know that they know how far they have come and how much her baptism means. Awesome stuff.
Well I'm wayyy out of time now so I'll leave it at that.
Love you all and wish you a great week!
