Hi everyone!

So the highlights from the week,

Our baptism from last week was confirmed yesterday!!! It was really great. She was again glowing and she and her husband are doing really well. The blessing that was given was really great and tender and she is really going to be a great part of the ward here. The ward missionaries should do the after baptism lessons.

Monday I bought a really cool 80s jacket from a thrift store. Just saying.... but to the real highlights....

We had a great lesson with another investigator and he expressed his desire to have his wife also hear the message and be baptized. That was a really sweet lesson and the spirit was really strong. They will make it if they can just make time to meet with us and come to church.

We also had an intense appointment with another sistert. It was one of those lessons where you really have to ask questions, listen, and then say what the spirit tells you to say. It went from her saying that she can't accept the Book of Mormon as holy scripture, only as a good book, to her saying, it is either true or not and I need to ask God which it is. We broke apart Moroni's promise and she committed to follow it and get an answer. Really amazing appointment where you could really see the spirit working with her and with us. One for the journal for sure.

We had a great joint teach with a brother at a member's house as well. The member fed us wild mushrooms that he picked himself!  Then we talked and taught about prayer. Our investigator loves thanking in his prayers but for some reason would never ask for things. This lesson made it really clear to him that God wants us to ask for blessings. It was really a good lesson.

Other funny things include my companion teaching his doctor about the Book of Mormon during a colon check, 5 fallen out appointments in the cold while sick on Sunday, and a lady sprinting away from us yelling after I told her I wanted to talk to her about Jesus.

So that was the week. Things are going good here. Got a lot of progressors and hopefully a few baptisms my last Sunday here. The ward basically loves us and they are working really well with us lately. Things are good! I just need to get healthy and then it will be great.

Have a great week er one!
