Hi everyone!

Surprise!!!  I'm staying another transfer!!! I thought for sure I was gone but luckily I get to stay!  I'm glad cause I love these people we are working with and this ward and district.  It's wayyy cool.  Just gotta finish strong here and hopefully we will have 4 baptisms this transfer!  Seriously awesome stuff happening here right now.

So basically my comp got really sick this week.  We had to stay in one day even. Stomach problems.  He got to know our bathroom really well.  I got a chance to deep clean the apartment and organize the area book a little and sewed all my ripped coats and pants together and hemmed stuff too.  So that was good.

As far as the work goes we had some really cool successes!  One brother is living the word of wisdom.  We have been working with him and helped him set up a program to stop drinking akohol and kaffee.  (I dont know how they are spelled in english anymore.)  So that was a super success!  And he has been to church every week now for almost a month!  That is huge for this man!  Sooo cool.  We just loved him and gave him a little support and he has done the rest.   Sometimes people just need a friend to check up on them.

This week we finished with a new convert.  She was baptized right before I got here and we did all the after baptism lessons with her and now she is done.  She is soooo solid it's great.  She is a great member and magnifies her calling as the YSA rep.  Basically she is just a huge example to me of righteous desires.  She lives the commandments because she wants to do the right thing.  Even things that aren't commandments per say, but are good counsel, she just does them.  It has really been a pleasure just to see her turn from a brand new convert to a solid member.

We have two investigators that are doing well.  One struggles with faith and prayer and he prayed that I would stay this transfer and lo and behold, God answered his prayer hahaha.  Really cool.  He even came alone to conference cause his friend was out of town.

Another investigator is also doing well.  We had a great joint teach with him last week and he committed to live the w of w and do be completely clean a week before the baptism.  He also found some work.  He really just needs to be doing something and this member offered him work.  Basically these are huge steps for him and if he stays with it he is going to be baptized on the 21st with another sister, who is also doing really well.

Another couple both came to GK as well and really enjoyed it. I LOVED GENERAL KONFERENZ!!!!  It is like the super bowl for missionaries.  I didn't get to see all of it and most of it I watched in german with investigators but I loved it.  Jeffery R. Holland and Dallin H. Oaks proved once again to be my favorite power speakers and President Monson, Henry B Eyring, and Neil L. Anderson once again enlightened me.  They gave probably my top 5 favorite talks so far. I could go on fovever but I don't have any time now.  I just know so strongly, when I watch conference, that this church is led by Christ through our prophets.  They are called of God.  This is the Kingdom of God on earth.  I know it and love it.

Have a great week people.
Elder Clayton
