Hello everybody!!

This week was basically the best. I was worried I would have to leave the area but thank goodness I was able to stay! There is more to do here in Görlitz and we are stoked for 5 more weeks here!

So the huge thing this week was a BAPTISM!!! S was baptized on Sunday and I will confirm him next Sunday. It was an amazing day for the K family. The mother gave a talk and sister said the opening prayer. There was a lot of tears and smiles and warm fuzzy feelings. S kept saying right afterwards how great he felt. After the service was over he went up to the branch president and said he wanted to say something so he went up on the stand and told the whole branch how happy he was and how thankful he was. He is a courageous lil guy haha and so funny. The brother who isn't too excited about the church came too and that was a wayy cool thing as well. Basically one of the happiest days of my mission.

L is also making tons of progress. Met twice at the branch pres' home with her and another young woman in the branch and she is doing awesome. Praying and reading in the Book of Mormon and she is still inviting friends and stuff to church. She wants to be baptized but doesn't have the permission yet. We are praying that somehow hearts will soften for L to be able to get baptized. She is so ready and willing and it was hard to see her see her brother get baptized even when she couldn't. The good news is she is staying positive and progressing in the gospel.

Herr E is doing good. We had a good appointment with him and taught him about the spirit and how it feels. He was suppossed to come to the baptism but he got sick so he couldn't. Hopefully we can get him to church soon.

We are working in Z still and that is going pretty well. A lot have moved away in between semesters and some stopped progressing but some are still very promising. It is hard cause we can only get there like once a week but it is still great to meet with so many people that will at least hear. One guy is wayy promising. He is from China! He is athiest and we taught him about faith and about finding God. He is very open and honest and committed to reading Alma 32 and praying to find out if God is there. We are really stoked about him.

Besides that we have been really blessed to find new potential investigators in the past couple weeks. A lot of really cool people that hopefully will progress.

This Saturday we have a open house for our church building and we are hoping to get a lot of people interested through that.

We have also had some more hilarious times with members. The branch president is great and another member of the branch presidency brought us root beer from the west. Amazing.

Anyways I'm out of time. Love you all!
Elder Clayton
