So this week was interesting. A lot of fallen out appointments and not a ton to report but I'll share two awesome things from the week.
We are excited about our investigator H. He is sooo humble and good hearted and we set out a baptismal date with him for his birthday. He was a drunk but one day he decieded he couldn't live longer like that and changed his life around and give up alcohol. He also wants to quit smoking already so we are excited to help him do that as well. He's very open and has a long way to go but his heart is pure and he's got the will. A real awesome guy.
The next cool thing is that on Tuesday I was on splits in Bautzen. We got to teach a whole high school class about our church. It's an english class of 17 and 18 year olds and they did a unit on religion and the teacher was approached on the street and invited the missionaries to come talk about our church in english. We basically did question and answer for 45 mins and we fielded some good and hard questions. Everything from homosexuallity to tithing to polygamy to word of wisdom. Then for the next 45 mins we taught them all about the restoration and showed the film about it. It was waayyy cool. Something you won't forget. We were allowed to give each of them our card and invited them all to check out our internet site, visit our church, and call us for an appointment if they have further interest. Wayyy awesome to give so many people a clear picture of who we are and what we believe and then teach them the message of the restoration. Don't know if any have become investigators but at least we planted some firm seeds for now.
I don't have any more time unfortunatley but I love you all. The church is true!
Elder Clayton
