Hallo everyone

This week was pretty awesome. Had a split with an elder from the mtc and that was wayyy fun. One week in the city and I got to lead it. Awesome. After looking at numbers last night my comp and I realized we are working hard. We just never realized it cause we are having a lot of fun too. We got 5 new investigators this week which is pretty huge. We even made out a baptisimal date with a son of an inactive member and that was really cool. A lot of potential in these new people. Every one of them. We had cool lessons this week with new people and old alike. Basically we are building the program right now. It's real fun though. A lil bit about the people...

One new guy, DK is wayyyy hilarious. Really smart doctor guy who wants to learn how to develop faith. We were like heck ya we can help with that. Here's Alma 32 buddy. Unfortuneately we won't see him for like another month but naja we are excited to see him then.

Another new guy, H, is way cool. He's kinda poor, and humble. He said one of the coolest prayers I've ever heard though. We asked him to say the closing prayer and told him how and he really just talked to God and it was really touching. He just pled for other people. He asked for peace for the world. Awesome. He came to church yesterday and seemed to enjoy it. A strange, but way cool, and way honest guy.

Then there is the Z family. They randomly showed up to church 3 different times then gave the missionaries their address and number and we visited them this week. We thought the two were married but it turns out they are brother and sister. Veryyy faithful people. They know the bible like you wouldn't believe and we talked to them about the restoration and left a Book of Mormon. If they give it a chance and prove it with prayer there's no doubt they will accept it. Way cool.

Also S. He is 10 years old. The son of an inactive lady. We taught him using paper cups to build a church and then destroyed it, then built it back to teach the restoration. Went really well. Caught his attention which isn't easy to do. We made out a baptisimal date with him for March. It's really cool cause his mom was bearing testimony to him like the whole time. Hopefully this activates her as well.

Also we "randomly" ran into the doctor that took out my companion's appendix a couple months ago and talked to him for a long time. He's awesome! From Venezuela and he has a friend there that joined the church and he said she is sooo much different and just totally positive and full of light. We offered to tell him more about the church and give him a Book of Mormon and got an appointment with him this coming week. He's soooo cool. We are wayyy stoked about that.

This week I've really just been struck with the beauty and simplicity of the plan of salvation. It's the answer to everything in this life. When we really understand the plan of salvation we have a different perspective. Death, birth, and life take on new meanings. All the bad things that happen are taken care of through the atonement of Jesus Christ, which is the center of the plan of salvation. The plan of salvation gives us knowledge of our eternal identity, the purpose of life, and what we can become. Sooo many people have no idea why they are here, who they are, and what they can become. And a lot of them don't want to hear about it. I'm grateful for this knowledge and I'm glad I get to share it with the few who will hear it. So don't forget the big picture in your everyday decisions!

Much love people. -Elder Clayton
