So this week
was pretty awesome. Lots of finding time since we decided to throw all our
investigators who have no time to the side and not worry about them for now.
That was the best decision and we felt good about it. We had like twenty people
who just are flaky about appoinments and every week we plan how we can help them
and then we don't actually end up meeting so we are just cleaning house. So lots
of finding this last week and lots of success in that. Found like 20 interested
people this week, mostly students. the problem now is all the students have
exams in the next two weeks so appointments are all being postponed. hahaha.
There is always something. But once exams are over we will have like a hundred
potential investigators. So that has been really cool.
Monday we had a way cool appointment with V and S. S was born in the church but stopped going as a teenager and got into drugs and got cancer and turned his life around and then met V who has never really gone to church before but believed there was a God. V decided to try his church and since then they have been coming regularly to our church and they love it. They were married about a month ago and we just talked to V about her plans and if we could meet and help her prepare for baptism. So we met and had a super awesome appointment and are just giving her the lessons and preparing her to be baptised this month. She is so ready and strong and it is really amazing how the two of them have found their way to the gospel. So excited for her!
T, from Vietnam, got an extension on her visa so she can stay 2 more months but longer if her job papers pass the immigration offices requirements. It is a bit complicated but basically there is still a good chance she can stay and eventually quit her weekend job so she can come to church and get baptized. We still teach her and she is still unbelievably prepared. We are just waiting now for things to work out to see where she goes and when she can get this new work.
We got to go to a baptism on Saturday too which was awesome! The guy needed an interview from the DL my comp and we were needed as witnesses. He is from Cameroon and he is quite possibly the happiest man I've ever seen. He bore his testimony after his baptism and just was radiating the love of God. Such a great experience for the whole branch there. Plus he got baptized in a lake. Wayyy cool.
Anyway things are going great here! Much to look forward too. Promising new investigators, 2 are going to get baptized, and this week we meet the new mission president. Really excited.
Have a great week at home!

Hi everyone!
So I got to write a little bit but not everyone. I'm sorry. I have a
migrane and it is getting bad right now.
This week was great tho, I was healthy and working hard. Our
investigator from vietnam got a 2 month extension so that was awesome.
Our last zone conference with President Pimentel was really great. Very
inspiring. Such a wonderful couple who have done so much for the
church here. I love them and will miss them. Next week President Kosak
comes and we are stoked to have him. We are doing a lot of finding and
are basically done with a lot of our investigators who we can't get
appoinments with and we have found a lot of awesome new people.
Yesterday we found like 6 sweet new possible progressers! We are
working in a student housing place and it's money. Cool young people
from all over the world. Georgia, Peru, Croatia, Russia, Cambodia,
China, just everywhere. It's awesome.
Anyway I'm not feeling well so this week is short and I prolly won't
write everyone back cause my head is pounding and I might throw up.
Love you all and til next week!
