Hey everyone!
This week was busy as they come. Filled with appointments and traveling all over East Berlin trying not to be late. We meet alot with semi active members that need help and we have quite a few investigators right now too. 4 new ones this week!
One cool story was on Wednesday we were on the way to an appointment going from a tram to a train and I saw this guy looking at me. I smiled and said hello. He smiled too. We passed by and I looked back and he was walking the other way too still looking at me kind of perplexed that I noticed him and said hi. I felt like I needed to go back and talk to this guy but we were in a hurry. We kept walking then realized we missed our train so I told my comp to follow me and we quickly went to the tram platform and found this guy. I managed to give him our card and say to call as the tram door shut on him. He called 2 minutes later and we explained who we were and what we do and made out an appoinment with him. One of those times where you knew God put someone in your path and you are just happy you were paying enough attention to see it. I'm so glad we went back for him. He is now a progressing investigator. He came to church with us yesterday. Wonderful experience.
Besides that we had a cool appointment with a super cool student girl, one with a muslim friend of a member who has a belief in Christ now, and one with a super cool classic berliner guy. We were super blessed this week with great appointments and cool new people and opportunities.
Zone conference was great!!! Two good missionary friends gave their final testimonies and it was just a very spiritual and fun day. A day where the mission gets put into perspective. Love it! I'm loving my mission so much!! I never want to go home. There is nothing more fullfilling. Such joy and fun and knowledge. It is great.
Anyways I'm out of time unfortunately but I love you all. Have a great week.

Hey
everyone,
This week was insane!!!
So Monday we had FHE with a way cool family we are with a lot, the R family.
Tuesday we tried planning and combining and planning for all the investigators in both programs. Then that night we met with T. She is from Vietnam and she is amazing!! I was just on fire because I was out of the apartment for the first day in a week and a half and I was like guys we are committing her to baptism and we did! She was so stoked for it! She is super positive and she realizes God's hand in her life. She reads in the BOM and she prays and she is amazing. So stoked for her. The only problem is she works two jobs and one is on Sunday so we are working with her to get her a new job or try to work something out.
So Wednesday we had some sick appointments. F is a way cool investigator. He is super buff and down to earth and he is a christian. We taught him about the plan of salvation and he liked it a lot. He wants to get more into it with this investigation of the Book of Mormon and the church so we are excited to see his progress.
We also met with R on Wednesday. R is debateably my favorite investigator of my mission. He is from Venezuela. He has lived here for 2 years and he is looking for the true church. We brought him to the church and showed him around a bit and taught about the restoration. The first time we met we gave him a pamphlet about it and he read it and totally internalized it. I asked him if he is looking for a true church he said ya. I asked if it could be ours and he said could be. I asked how he could find out and he said, if the Holy Ghost tells me. Basically he is great. Then I asked him if it is true if he would be baptized in the true church, he said of course. Then we set a date to work towards. He is stoked to learn and to find out and to come to church. He had a foot operation on Saturday so he couldn't come to church but next week he will come! Sooo stoked for him.
Thursday we met with like 5 members. Some super old that can't come to church, some brand new that need support, and some inactive. Wayyy good appointments.
Thursday was a holiday here though. In Germany it is celebrated as the day Christ ascended into heaven. Somehow here that has morphed into man day. That means like 75 percent or more of the men of the country get wayyyy drunk. We were at a train station catching a train to the next appointment when I got bumped way hard from behind. A way huge way drunk guy with a case of beer hit me. Then he turned around and tried to take my nametag and ya I won't go into details but I got a crate of beer broken on me and my suit ripped a little bit but somehow I remained calm and I was completely unharmed. I have a little bruise on my arm and that's it. It could have been way bad cause he had like 8 drunk friends with him but thankfully everything turned ok. Mom don't be scared cause everything's all right. No one is hurt. And I'm not in danger because the Lord is on our side. Right after this sketchy experience we were teaching a newly baptized member and she was so excited to share her new scripture with us. D&C 24:8. God promises to be with us in our afflictions. It touched me cause I think that is something our companionship just experienced and something to remember here.
Besides that the week was still crazy with a baptism in our district that we had to go out to that didn't actually go through so that was craziness as well. And to top it off our dritt is shrinking, on Tuesday into just me and Elder Redd, who came here together less than 4 weeks ago. And we still have 2 weeks in the transfer!! Let's see what craziness happens in the next 14 days!
Plus happy birthday! I'm 1 year old on the mission this week!
I'm so glad for my mission. I'm loving it. The gospel of Jesus Christ is real and it's here.
