Hello people.
This week was great! Another crazy week here in Berlin!
Highlights......
Wednesday was golden finding day! We did a esprit de corps thing with our mission and the two other german speaking missions and focus all on one day for finding golden people!! It was super cool. We fasted for it Sunday and then Wednesday did almost a whole day of finding. We gave out 3 Books of Mormon and found some really cool people that could be making some real progress here soon! The day didn't exactly go according to plan but the Lord blessed us to run into a lot of people that would listen. We had a testimony meeting in district meeting right before too so that was a cool way to put us on fire before we went out to find.
Other thing is we did a lot of service this week. We helped out with a ball the ward did. We are helping a member redo his mother's house. We are mainly destroying things so he can redo them hahaha. Also we had some good visits with older ladies that can't make it to church anymore and need company.
Our eating appoinment after church on Sunday was wonderful. A super older lady whose childhood was shattered by post war poverty. She has been clinically dead like 4 times and has had every sickness or health problem you can think of but she is still going strong. She cooked us an unbelievable amount of food. I literally said a prayer that we would be helped to be able to finish the food. We were not about to stop eating because she kept telling us to eat and how because after the war she had no food and how bad she hates it when young people waste food. Somehow we finished it, then were able to pound 2 desserts down too. We shared a cool spiritual thought about how the righteous aren't spared of trials and how we go about them is what matters. Then we played a hilarious game of uno. For some reason everything was funny. I'm certain this communist raised older faithful woman had never laughed that hard in her life. We were laughing just as hard though. She thanked us about a thousand times for bringing some joy into her life. It was sure a great mission memory and a great feeling to help someone out.
Anyway I'm out of time again but I'm here in Berlin for another transfer with my companion and will prolly be in this ward for another 2 or 3 transfers!! Summer in Berlin! Really excitied to see lots more success and good times here in Marzahn. Glad the craziest transfer of my life is over though so we can settle in and build the work in the kingdom!
Love you all!
