So I'm writing early this week because Monday the stores are closed and we can't email. Anyways....
Things are going really awesome! Yesterday we had an awesome zone conference! Like off the charts helpful and spiritual. Learned a lot! I got to see tons of mission friends and that was great! Almost my whole MTC district was there and like half of the group that came over with me on the plane! Crazy! Then of course Elder O was there, but for the last time. Could be the last time I see him on the mission so that was kinda weird but ya. Also Elder M S gave his farewell testimony. Wow. He is sick. Such a great missionary and so cool too. Sad I only saw him twice on the mission but naja it was way fun to talk to him. There were a lot of elders going home so the farewell testimonies got everyone pretty jacked up on spirit and motivation I think.
Had a really good appointment with Herr E this week and are gonig to go see L today. Hopefully we can get them both to church tomorrow. The K family is doing just ok. Lots of stress and lil problems but they are still reading and praying and coming to church so that is good. It doesn't
look like L is going to get permission to get baptized anytime soon but we will keep looking for a miracle there. Still searching for the elect here in the city. Doing a lot of activating work. Really liked Richard C. Edgely's talk about treating the nonactives no different. Met with 2 new ones this week and the spirit really is there when you just treat them like you would anyone else.
Learned a lot from General Conference and Zone Conference. I love the gospel. Especially the Book of Mormon. Our mission president talked about how the Book of Mormon builds our testimonies in the three big pillars of a testimony. 1. God is our loving Heavenly Father 2. Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour of the world 3. His church has been restored on the earth. When we read the Book of Mormon, ponder it, and pray for confirmation we will receive it and we will know that God is the Eternal Father of our spirits, that Jesus saved us from our sins, and that His church is restored by a prophet on the earth. I know these things to be true and love to bear testimony of it!! I'm pretty spiritually charged right now.
I'm also stoked to celebrate the ressurection of the Lord tomorrow. We are teaching sunday school tomorrow and prepared a killer lesson that walks through the last days of the Christ. From the last supper to the ressurection. Such a blessing that He gave us. It is one of my favorite things to talk about.
Anyways things are going great here in Görlitz. Really happy here. Wish you all a blessed Easter fest!
