CONFERENCE WAS AWESOME!!!!!! If I could I'd talk about it the whole letter. I'm totes outa time though already. Dalton, Cook, Callister, Holland, Uchtdorf, Eyring, Andersen, Monson, and Ardern were among my favorites.
Callister's was prolly my favorite from a missionary stand point. Either the Book of Mormon is from God or it's from the devil. It either was written by prophets and translated by the power of God or Joseph Smith wrote it with help from the devil. Either Jesus was the Christ and the Son of God or he was a liar because he told us he was the savior and the son of God so saying he was a man and a good teacher is a giant contradiction. A great teacher wouldn't lie to the entire earth. THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and anyone who reads it with an open heart and asks God if it is true will know it is true. If that is true then Joseph Smith was a prophet. Then we are the Savior's one true church on the earth and Thomas S. Monson is the prophet of God on the earth today. It's all true or it's not. If one part isn't true it would mean the rest by relation is false. It's all true or it's the biggest, most elaborate, most evil hoax there ever was. I see it logically and I feel it, the Book of Mormon is true. It is easily my favorite book. This church is true!
Ok I'm done ranting.
Plus I'm staying in Hildesheim with my trainer for one more transfer! Although now he is technically not a trainer and I'm no longer a golden. We were both pretty stoked about it cause we work well together and we are having a ton of success. We finished a perfect transfer in teaching and finding goals! Awesome! The Lord's work, not ours. No way we could have done it alone. We are stoked to build off last transfer and hopefully bring several into the church of Jesus Christ.
A couple cool experiences with prayer:
We had been finding on the streets for like 2 or 3 hours and our first 2 or 3 appointments had fallen out and we decided to take a break for water. I said a heartfelt prayer and asked to be led to someone who was ready to accept the gospel. I felt that we should head to the park so we did. We talked to a few people and we were in the middle of talking to this homeless guy about the meaning of life when this lady came up to us and started asking us questions. We talked about tons of gospel subjects and she was soooo interested in what we believed. She begged us to meet haha and we gladly accepted. She asked for reading materials and we introduced the Book of Mormon and left one with her. She ended up missing our appointment at the church and we didn't get her number so it was a total loss of contact. I was pretty bummed but I still felt like we would find her again somehow cause God obviously led us to her. Last night we had an amazing night of finding. The Lord was obviously leading us places and we "happened" to run into her! She apologized like a billion times for forgetting and was basically in tears that we met again. She had read in the Book of Mormon and we gave her alma 40 to read because she is really scared she is going to lose her mother soon. This time we got her number and a new appointment. She said that she thinks we are what she has been looking for. AMAZING!!! All because a humble little prayer we get to help this dear lady find the truth. Prayer works. The Lord knows us perfectly and is waiting to bless us if we just ask him for his help. Don't try and do it alone. We weren't meant to get through this life alone. You aren't going to bother him.
So the main points of this letter ended up being follow the prophet, read your scriptures, and pray. How's that for your primary answers?! haha It's because they are the answers to everything! For reals!
Ok love you all. I'd love to hear from you people if anybody even reads this. haha Ok bye.
