Last email from the MTC!

Hallo!

 

so this week was probably the quickest week ever. we had to tell our investigators that we were being transfered and even though this is role play it was almost a little sad. we have seen sooo much progress in Richard and Wolfy and they were both really excited about baptism this week. it puts if into perspective for you. if they were real id make sure the new elders got them to baptism. wolfy has like 1 or 2 lessons left and richard 3 or 4. tonight our teachers will tell us what happened with the real wolfy and richard. so stoked to hear what happened to them.

 

so wow im leaving in approximately 39 hours for germany!!! i cant believe my time at the mtc is over. i feel like ive been here forever but at the same time its like i just got here. its weird how this place warps time. i will miss certain things about it and certain things i definitely wont miss. ill miss my teachers, and the other missionaries a ton!! we get so close after 9 weeks and i wont see these people for 2 years or ever again for some of them. its sad but its life. Ive learned so much here. ive felt the spririt daily. ive grown a ton in serving the zone and in teaching. ive taught a hundred lessons, and ive bore my testimony hundreds of times probably. but im not sick of it. im more excited to teach now than ever because soon i can share it with people who have never heard it before and need this in their lives.

 

so ya. Germany!! i dont think my german is anywhere near ready but im on my way anyways. i hope i can understand them at least sometimes. all this uncertainty is pretty scary but im confident that God's hand is in all of this and that with his help i can succeed and help some people come to Christ our savior. i have been working on hope this week. on having hope that all will be well in germany. im hopefull that this will be an awesome adventure and a great thing.

i know that this church is true and that Jesus is the Christ. i know that the Holy  Ghost works in the hearts of men. ive participated in that here in the MTC. i know that the book of mormon is true and i love reading it so much. and with that im off! prayers and letters are much appreciated! love you all!!
