so this week was pretty awesome. the transition from zone leader to AP was interesting. being a ZL was more busy but more fun as well. being an AP is interesting. we are basically in charge of the residence building and we go around the whole thing everynight and check on things. we have a meeting once a week with the zone leaders in the building and go over concerns. some of their zones just really never follow the rules. its rediculous. the german zone is easily the most obedient. its kinda stressful but its a good thing we do.
we also got a new group of missionaries in the zone. because we were training the new ZLs we got to go to their opening meeting with the branch presidency. it was awesome. they are a super strong group and their testimonies were awesome. we got to teach them a little and show em around a lil. helping the newbys is the funnest. my favorite part about being a ZL for sure.
our investigators are progressing. Wolfy seems to be doing really well! we are teaching the commandments now and we taught obedience, prayer, scripture study, and sabbath day observance and the spirit was really good. he has committed to live all of them! hopefully there arent any problems with chastity or wofw. Richard is going a lil bit slower. only taught him once this week. we will start the commandments next week. since he is a JW i think the commandments wont be too tought for him to keep but we need to help him build his testimony a bit. he needs to really realize that our message and book arent just good, they are true and from God. Wiebka and Mielu were awesome this week. Wiebka had lots of questions that went right along with our lesson. she asked why God cant talk to us all face to face so we are having her read alma 32 in hopes that she realizes that we need to have faith, not a perfect knowledge. mielu was a bit quieter this time but she seems to be accepting it all well. shes going to church with us and wiebka is working on getting work off for church next week. I love teaching! the feeling and the spirit that is there in a good lesson that really is fitted to the investigator is unbeatable. its basically the only thing that keeps you sane here. helping people is awesome. im getting really ancy to teach some real germans! 2 weeks left and ill be in Germany!!
as far as the day to day stuff everything is going all right. one of the elders in the zone is basically a personal trainer so i hit his boot camp pretty regularly in hopes that this food doesnt make me too out of shape. by this time we got the weekly routine memorized. finding variety in everday is key! my testimony is strengthened all the time. i love this gospel and this work.
i miss all you people at home but not too much cause this is right. if you are reading this you should prolly write me a letter because ill be in germany in 2 weeks and letters take a long time there. LOVE YOU ALL! the church is totes true and can really help everyone! peace!
