Hey there America!

 Zone Conference
Wow what a week.  The fastest week of the mission by far. A very successful week as well.  The Lord has blessed us.  We got 2 baptisimal dates this week!  In South America that prolly happens a lot but in Germany that is an amazing week!  We also had zone conference and an exchange this week so ya it was an eventful week to say the least.
The first baptisimal date is with B.  He is way cool.  He has a ton of time too so we taught him like 4 times this week which was awesome. haha When we brought up baptism he said, "no problem" hahaha.  We taught him alot about baptism this week because he needs to know what he is getting himself into obviously haha.  He isn't a great reader so we have trouble knowing how well he is understanding everything (he has read almost the whole BOM in these 2 weeks).  So we have to take it slow and ask alot of questions with him.  We have an awesome member that comes with us and took him to church and has been really great with him too.   He already lives all the commandments haha and we brought up tithing cause he asked us how the church is funded and he said he would like to contribute.  We explained it's ten percent and he said "no problem."  It is unbelievable how humble and good this man is.  He came to a ward party/reception for this couple in the ward and he bought them a wedding gift.  He had never even met them! He brings us little gifts every visit like a peach or something.  He is sooo accepting.  The only problem with him right now is he is a little too accepting haha  We need to really establish that this church and this baptism and this gospel is the only fully true one on the earth.  He kind of accepts everything. Islam and Christianity. We need to help him really understand what the restoration means.  He believes it happened but doesn't understand the implications of it.  As long as we clear that up he will be baptized on the 28th of August.
The other baptismal date is with C.  She is soooo awesome.  She has a really high voice and acts like she's 20 when she is really like 60 and she cracks me up.  We haven't got to teach her in a while but on saturday we finally got a time to go by.  She has only been taught the restoration but has come to church since we met her (like a month now).  When we got there she suggested going on a walk.  So we walked with her and her dog and talked about her testimony she gave in church on sunday and brought up baptism.  We asked her if that is something she would like to do and expressed how much of a blessing it would be.  She said she would!  Then she asked if she needed a snorkel hahaha.  She also brought up herself that she prolly needs to quit smoking.  And we said yes, that there was a revelation that tells us that isn't good for our bodies and she didn"t seem to have a problem with that.  Easier said than done though.  We settled on Sept 11th.  She asked what was required and we told her and told her it's not scary and she will have the help of us and the members and God.  Sooo dope.
We also had an exchange and zone conference this week.  The mission president shared with us his vision for the mission and is making some changes in the mission standards.  It says in the dedicatory prayer of Germany that "many hundreds" will be baptized into the church.  We have a lot of work to get to many hundreds but the numbers are on the rise.  The mission is getting better numbers than ever I guess and Germany is white already for the harvest.  He is an amazing man and gets us really focused on and stoked about the work.  The exchange was really cool too.  My first one.  I went to a small town for the day and worked with another elder in the district.  It was a really fun day.  It's fun to switch things up and work with someone else in a different part of the field.
So G didnt come to church this week.  She was in hamburg.  We got 2 or 3 others that are kind of stalled right now.  This week we gotta get some real progress out of em!  Unfortunately I'm outa time.  Wish I could tell about everything but there is simply to much.  I try to share the most interesting/successful/cool experiences.  Anyways I'm happy and excited for the next week.  This week went real fast and I'm more comfortable everyday.  The language is coming slowly.  I can't wait for the day went I can have a regular conversation! haha.  Anyways I love you all at home.  Letters would be nice. haha just saying.  3 weeks in Germany and no love from friends.  Not to guilt trip or anything. jk. haha. Ok anyways I love you all.  This church is true.  God is there and He cares about you and your happiness.  Talk with Him.  The Book of Mormon is amazing.  This week I read in Mosiah and found an awesome line.  So simple.  So powerful.  So true.  Last line of mosiah 3 or 4 I think. It says "o man, remember, and perish not. amen".  When we always remember Christ, His example, His atonement, and His love we will be inspired to do all the things we need to do to be happy in this life and in eternity.  Love you all.  Til next week.
