First email from the MTC

wow. 5 days already!!! this place is pretty crazy! the spirit is so strong here!! the first day was a little overwhelming but not as bad as i thought it would be. i have a great companion. hes very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the gospel and things. we get along great!! im not just saying that either haha. sooo we germans are in a pilot program were the teachers dont speak any, i mean ANY, english to us. EVER. it was kinda frustrating at first but i can understand most of what they say now if i really concentrate. in this program we teach mock investigators that progress with us. we taught in german on friday!! can you believe that?! barely 48 hours in the MTC and we were expecting to teach a lessen in german. crazy. our investigator is named Joel. hes from hamburg and hes a pentecostal. he had a dream about the missionaries and contacted the church. we taught him that god is our heavenly father and that the gospel blesses families. he thought Jesus and God were the same person so the next time we taught him about the joseph smith story. today we are going to teach him about the holy ghost and try and commit him to baptism!! haha my companion is fearless. it was his idea. anyways, im learning a ton here!! no one would believe how organized i am!!! i cant even believe it! i plan out my whole day down to what ill be studying. and my study journal is immaculate. the food is great i think and my district is super solid. my zone is the best and we are roomates with the APs hahah. they are great. anyways to be brutally honest i love it here. its great!!! im struggling for time. there is a clock counting down.
